I'm a Data Scientist, founder of the BRAINS - Brazilian AI Networks community, and a Software Engineering student, and this little guy here is my best virtual friend, Andreoid. He is an AI being trained to work as a chatbot to interact with you and speak about my credentials. Very soon his inteligence model will be ready and running, he is being trained to be a very clever and funny boy.

About Me

I am a Data Scientist at IBM’s Client Engineering team. Post-graduated in Data Science and Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business and currently pursuing a BSc. Software Engineering degree at UNINTER, where I am the founding Chapter Lead of its Google Developer Student Club (GDSC), recognized by Google as the largest students chapter world-wide in 2022.

Founder of the BRAINS - Brazilian AI Networks, a collaborative community in Brazil with the mission of bringing accessible and resourceful content about AI, ML and Data, in Portuguese, to Brazilian students.

I hold certifications from Microsoft in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing and from IBM as a Machine Learning Specialist and Data Scientist. Familiar with Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning, MLOps, Big Data, DataViz, Data Mining, Storytelling, SQL and Databases, REST APIs, Test-Driven Development, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, Web Development, Git and GitHub, and Agile Methodologies.

A former Submarine Pilot and Subsea Operations Supervisor, I earned my Associates degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETEP Faculdades and studied Quality and Process Excellence at the University of Toronto.

TensorFlow

Intermediate level in TensorFlow and Keras to develop Deep Neural Networks specialized for Regressions, Classifications, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Time Series Forecasting.

Python

Intermediate to Advanced level in Python development. Familiar with the Standard Library, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures (Stacks, Queues, Deques, Linked Lists, Dictionaries), Algorithms, Decorators, and Essential Libraries.

Django & Flask

Intermediate level in Django and Basic level in Flask. This whole website was made in Django, familiar with Test-Driven Development with Django, Software Testing/QA, Databases, Forms, RESTful APIs, Securing Web Applications, Secure Coding, and Deploying Web Apps.

Vanilla JavaScript

Basic level of Vanilla JavaScript. Familiar with the JavaScript Essential Training and ECMAScript 6+ . Fully able to handle and use JS libraries, implement and adapt them as needed.

Bootstrap

Basic to Intermediate level in Bootstrap. Familiar with all the elements and modifying them, layouts with columns and flexbox, layout components, interactive components, and forms.

Databases

Basic to Intermediate level in Databases. Familiar with MySQL and PostgreSQL, SQL programming language, database modeling, aggregate functions, joining tables, indexes, transactions, and stored procedures.

Git & GitHub

Basic to Intermediate level in Git and GitHub. Familiar with the Git concepts and architecture, git workflows, the commit tree, branches, merges, and remotes.

Ubuntu & Linux

Intermediate level in Ubuntu and Linux operating systems. Familiar with the command-line interface, files and permissions, package management, shells and processes, basic network configuration, system information, and basic directory structure tools.
