Our first Google event, hosting an Info Session to present ourselves to the university, to other students and to the world.
Google DSC - Info Session
The Info Session was a YouTube Live event to present the Google Developer Student Clubs program to the university, to other students and to the world. I proudly presented this event, which had almost 200 live viewers, breaking all the records in Brazil for such an event.
During the event I summarized the story of the GDSC program, gave a taste of how the program may impact and leave a positive legacy for the communities, and presented about some Google's initiatives such as the Solution Challenge, Study Jams, and our first application project. We tried to answered all the frequently asked questions, such as:
- What its the Google Developer Student Clubs program?
- Where did it come from?
- What will we do?
- Our events: Info Sessions, Codelabs, Hackatons, Study Jam Workshops, Speaker Sessions, and our first event series, Career Talks.
- What is the GDSC structure?
- Who are us?
- Q&A session.
We also published some open positions for our Core Team during this event.
